Cooperation with Invictus Games Foundation
With a grant received from international charity foundation Invictus Games Foundation, Wounded Warrior Support Foundation purchased 10 seated basketball chairs for Georgia’s wounded warriors’ team.
WWSF cooperates with various international charitable foundations and organizations. An important milestone in the life of the Foundation is its cooperation with international charity, the Invictus Games Foundation (IGF). The Fund received a grant from IGF for purchasing 10 seated basketball chairs for Georgia's wounded warrior team, established under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. The team is constantly training and makes the worthy competition to the strongest teams worldwide in different types of sport. Transportation of the chairs to Georgia was provided by Silknet. Wounded Warrior Support Foundation will grant the chairs to Georgia's wounded warrior team. The latter is getting prepared for the upcoming Invictus Games to be held in September in Duesseldorf. Delivering of seated basketball chairs of the latest technology for the players of Georgia’s wounded warrior team, will allow them to get a better training and make a worthy competition during the tournaments. WWSF is proud to be a part of this important initiative.
